A man has been charged with murder after 'human remains' were found at a country park in Stockport. Thomas McCann, 48, has been remanded in custody to to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Saturday (May 30).
Police were called to Reddish Vale Country Park at around 10.30am on Monday (May 25) after a member of the public found human remains.
Officers believe the remains belong to a woman in her 40s. GMP said her next of kin has been informed, but formal identification has not yet taken place.
