Man charged after police officers injured in crash

A man has been charged with alleged offences following a crash involving a police car. Two police officers were injured in the collision involving a liveried GMP vehicle in Holden Road, Leigh, on Saturday morning (April 20).

Nathan Price, 32, of Keswick Place, Ince, Wigan, has now been charged with three counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance in connection with the incident. In a post on Facebook, GMP Wigan West said: "Nathan Price (24/04/1991) of Keswick Place, Ince, has been charged with three counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance. "He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 22 April).

These charges are in connection with a road traffic collision which took place on Kendal Road and Holden Road on Saturday 20 April."
