A man has now been arrested following the incident in Manchester city centre on Monday (October 4). According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) the suspect was arrested very quickly after the incident.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Yesterday (Monday, October 4), an officer saw a man have a drink thrown over him by a passer-by on a bike and quickly made an arrest."
