Man 'brazenly' drives away from court moments after being banned from road

A man 'brazenly' drove his car away from court just moments after being banned from the roads. Ryan Tuckman, from Wilmslow, was banned from driving for 40 months at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 28.

After the hearing, the 29-year-old left court in his Honda Acord and drove towards his home, police said. He was stopped by an officer on the A34 Melrose Way.

He was jailed for eight weeks on July 29. Sergeant Ian Smith, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Roads and Crime Unit, said: "Tuckman knew he had been disqualified from driving yet still drove to court on the day he was due to be banned and brazenly got back into it to drive home.
