A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a van in Renfrew.Police say the individual was also found with a blade on him at the time of his arrest.Officers were called out to reports of a van being broken into on Renfield Street around 9.35pm on Tuesday, May 9.A 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested, it was confirmed.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.35pm on Tuesday, May 9, police attended a report of a van being broken into in the Renfield Street area of Renfrew.“A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.“He was found to have a bladed article in his possession and was held in custody to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court.” Don't miss the latest Renfrewshire headlines – sign up to our free daily newsletter here
