A man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Trafford. Yesterday (April 21), police released an appeal for information after a man walked up to a teenager waiting for a bus in Trafford and started to perform a sexual act in front of her.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to Wood Lane, in Partington, just before 7.45am on Thursday. When they arrived they established a man had walked up to a young teenage woman as she sat waiting for a bus at around 7.30am, exposing himself and performing a sexual act before walking away. READ MORE: Parents of six-week-old baby say they are 'furious' with Bolton hospital after being prescribed 'potentially fatal' dose The man, who was described as a slim Asian male in his mid-30s and around 5'9" tall, was wearing a dark coloured cap, a dark jacket, and blue trousers at the time of the incident.
In a statement at the time, PC Charlotte Barnes, of GMPs Trafford Neighbourhood Team, described it as a ‘frightening incident’ for the teenage victim.
This morning (April 22), police provided an update to say that officers had now arrested a male on suspicion of indecent exposure.
