Firefighters, paramedics and police were called to Dean Street in Radcliffe at around 7.30pm on Tuesday night (August 10). The house was said to be 'well alight' when crews arrived. A 29-year-old man is now being held in custody on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He is waiting to be quizzed by detectives.
