A man has been charged after a 'woman was held against her will'. Jake Corry was arrested in London, police said. The 29-year-old was detained after officers were called to Ashton Road East, in Oldham, at around 2.30pm on Sunday (January 30) to reports of a woman being held against her will.
Corry, of Ashton Road East, Failsworth, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (February 2). Manchester's courts are some of the busiest in the country with a vast array of cases heard every week.

He has been charged with false imprisonment, making threats to kill and section 47 assault. He has also been charged with criminal damage and assault of an emergency worker.
