Officers raided the home, on Victoria Street in Radcliffe, at 9am on Thursday, July 8, and found cannabis plants growing in a room inside where the walls had been covered in silver foil.
Police say the electricity meter in the farm had been bypassed using a 'particularly advanced' method and that this could have created a serious fire risk.
