A man has been arrested on suspicion of carrying an 'imitation' firearm which was found by a police dog. Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a man with a potential firearm in Middleton on Monday (March 25).
Officers tracked down a man in his twenties who was searched by police dog Kyp. A firearm was found but deemed not 'viable'.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm and taken into custody, but has since been bailed pending further investigation.
