Daniel Eckersley, 35, is charged with racially aggravated assault, section 47 assault and theft from a shop. It comes after a 14-year-old boy was attacked while he was working at a shop in Salford. Appearing at Manchester Magistrates Court today (Monday 20 September) Mr Eckersley pleaded guilty to the theft of six cans of alcohol to the value of £15.00.
