Man admits to killing dad gunned down in the street with murder trial to come

A man has admitted to killing a dad who was gunned down in Manchester. Zikel Bobmanuel, 32, was shot dead in the Openshaw area of the city in March.

Rumaal Ingram, 38, pleaded guilty to manslaughter at a hearing at Manchester Crown Court on Friday, June 9. But he will face a murder trail in October.Emmanuel Onasanya, 32, who also appeared in court, pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and murder.

Manchester Evening News reports that he will go on trial alongside Mr Ingram.Officers were called to an incident on Welland Street in Openshaw at about 2pm on Saturday, March 25.

Mr Bobmanuel was pronounced dead at the scene.In a tribute released after his death, Mr Bobmanuel's family said: "Zikel was many things to many people, he was a good friend, a hard-working colleague, part of a large extended family, but ultimately, he was his mother’s son, her pride and joy.
