A man has been arrested for carrying a knife and child abduction in a Salford suburb. Police scrambled to Lee Street, in Higher Broughton, yesterday afternoon following reports that a man was carrying a ‘large knife’ in nearby Broughton Park.
He was apprehended by cops. Officers have since arrested and held the 26-year-old man on suspicion of the possession of a bladed article, making threats with a bladed article — and child abduction.
