A man charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon has been remanded in custody ahead of a crown court hearing.
Greater Manchester Police said today Samuel Davies, 24, has been charged with one count of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.
Davies, of Whimberry Way in Withington, Manchester appeared before magistrates at Manchester and Salford magistrates court on Tuesday, the force added.
He was remanded in custody at the hearing. GMP said his next court appearance would be at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday, April 11.
