Man, 20, found dead in city centre after police called to concern for welfare

Police were alerted by the ambulance service to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man on the busy stretch of road this morning (September 23).

A file has since been passed to the coroner. Part of Deansgate between Whitworth Street West and Liverpool Road was sealed off by police this morning (Friday).
