A man was rushed to hospital after a crash in Newton Heath last night. Emergency services, including police officers and paramedics, were called to the scene of the smash on Briscoe Lane just before 11.15pm.
An 18-year-old male suffered head injuries, a spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said. He was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.

The road was shut off by police after the crash. According to Manc Traffic, it was closed between Mitchell Street and Crawford Street.
