Samantha Barks is an extremely successful West End and Broadway star, who first came to prominence back in 2008 when she appeared on Andrew Lloyd Webber's reality show, 'I'd Do Anything,' and ended up placing third.
For those who can't remember, the show saw hundreds of hopeful unknown musical theatre performers compete for the lead role of Nancy in the 2009 West End revival of Oliver.
Plus, the series was also on the hunt for three young rising stars to alternate as Oliver Twist. Following Samantha's stint on the show, which launched her subsequent career, the 33 year old has gone on to appear in a slew of different productions, including Les Misérables, The Last Five Years, Broadway's Pretty Woman: The Musical, and the West End's Frozen, where she has played the role of Elsa since 2021.
Elsewhere, Samantha has also had a pretty successful music career, and has three studio albums under her belt. Not to mention TV credits and an array of accolades recognising her immense talent.
