MAMAMOO’s Solar teases new single, ‘Want’

MAMAMOO singer Solar has announced the upcoming release of her second single album ‘Want’.Today (March 17), MAMAMOO’s Soldar and her label RBW Entertainment released a teaser for the upcoming single album.

According to a press statement via Newsen, ‘Want’ will be about the “courage and excitement of being with someone you like before making your relationship official in time for spring, the season of new beginnings”.‘Want’ will mark the K-pop idol’s second solo single album.

The project will be released on April 2. More details about the release, including its tracklist, are expected in the coming weeks.‘Want’ will notably mark Solar’s first music release since her third mini-album ‘Colours’, which came out in April 2024.

She made her solo debut in 2022 with the ‘容 : FACE’, which was led by the single ‘Honey’. Other tracks on that album also included ‘Raw’, the then-viral ‘Big Booty’ and more.In a glowing four-star review of the mini-album, NME’s Rhian Daly described ‘容 : FACE’ as a “record of balmy bops”.
