Malin Andersson opened up about the racial abuse she endured growing up in light of George Floyd’s unlawful death. The Love Island star revealed she and her family were the only Asians in a ‘white village’ and were called disgusting names.

Taking to her OK column, the 27-year-old said: ‘I’ve got two older brothers and a sister and we’d all go to school – I was only a little girl at this point so I only remember bits of it – but my brothers would get spit on and be called a P***.

They’d come home crying. ‘I mentioned before that I was called horrible names, but so was my sister. She got called Hitler all the time, because she had a lot more facial hair than me.’ The star’s mum would constantly fight for Malin when issues arose at school.
