Maia Dunphy organised something positive for people to do while they’re in the comfort of their homes during these strange times.
The TV presenter was moved to action by a homeless person telling her their situation was ‘worse than ever’ now that there’s no one in public spaces.
As a result, she set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise much-needed funds for the tireless people helping those on the streets working with Merchants Quay Ireland (MQI) and Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH). ‘Like so many of you, I’m feeling helpless here, so I’ve set up a GoFundMe page,’ Maia wrote on Instagram as she launched the campaign.
