Keep reading to find out more… About the delay, Deadline reports that, “The studio won’t make the movie until they’ve cracked a great script.” They also said that for Marvel exec Kevin Feige, “It’s important to make the best Blade movie ever.” Blade has had numerous issues in pre-production.

The film’s first director, Bassam Tariq, exited the movie two months before it was supposed to enter production in late 2022.

The director who replaced Bassam, Yann Demange, exited the movie earlier this year. Blade was announced as a project back in 2019, and Mahershala Ali has been attached as the titular character since then.
