Married At First Sight star Sacha Jones has defended her dramatic decision on the show to not move to Manchester with groom Ross McCarthy , revealing that events happened behind the scenes which led her to the shock choice.

Sacha, 29, was seen to make a huge U-turn in her relationship with Ross, 32, on recent scenes of the hit E4 show. After meeting Ross’ sister and his young daughter in Manchester, Sacha was seen breaking the news to the father of one that she would not move to Manchester with him.The reality star, who lives in Birmingham, broke down in tears as she opened up to her groom that she was having second thoughts about joining him in Manchester, and that she didn’t want to leave her family behind, despite previous discussions the couple had had about her moving to the city to be with him.

Speaking in the episode, the ex-Miss Birmingham champion said: "I've got a lot more to think about now because I need to think about myself and my support network in Walsall and what I need, but I also need to consider Ross and the little life in his life." She then told Ross how she was feeling, explaining: “"It might be hard being away from my family, I'm going to miss them so much, usually I always have their support and guidance… Manchester is not a certainty any more.

She added: "Maybe I just need to be a little bit closer to my family. I'm just unsure." But, fans were quick to slam the decision, with one writing: “Sacha is going on about how family-oriented she is and doesn’t want to be the one to move yet would prefer Ross to leave his daughter???" Another wrote: "Not buying a word of Sasha's VT there.
