Married At First Sight star Charlie Curtis has opened up about the moment her romance with Eve Reid came to an end. The couple had tied the knot in front of friends and family on the current series of the show, but ultimately decided to leave the experiment before the second commitment ceremony.
Their relationship hit a roadblock when Eve refused to write a heartfelt letter, despite the experts' encouragement, and Charlie revealed on the show's podcast, MAFS UK: It's Official, that this was the final straw, reports the Mirror.
Speaking to host Chloe Burrows, Charlie explained: "Yes [it was a turning point] my brain clicked at that point. At the time I felt like I was doing everything in my power to [follow] what was set for us by the experts and take our relationship to that next point. "Anything that was thrown at us, it was just shut down.
Whereas, actually, maybe if she [Eve] had taken the time to write the letter whilst being a bit more open and honest with me it might have worked out differently. "We signed up for this we knew what to expect.
