MAFS Kasia slams 'fat-shaming' husband Kwame: 'He didn’t appreciate me'

Married at First Sight UK's Kasia London has slammed her "fat-shaming" husband Kwame Badu, claiming that "he didn't appreciate" her.

The 36 year old sensationally quit the series just before its ending, after enduring a rocky marriage with Kwame. She's now explained why, suggesting that Kwame's outlook on body types does not match what she stands for, after he publicly said that Kasia was "bigger than what he normally goes for".

Speaking to The Sun, Kasia said: “I came on the experiment to find love and a man that would stand by my side through thick and thin. "But, it turns out that the man selected for me would only stick with me through THIN. "I love my curves and apparently the first thing Kwame said when he saw me was about my size. "I left Kwame because he didn’t appreciate me and he publicly said I was bigger than what he normally goes for.

As a woman you kinda know if a guy is into you and I feel strongly about empowering plus size women so I was never going to accept Kwame’s 'fat shaming' antics." Kasia added that she hopes female MAFS UK viewers don't have negative feelings about her scenes, describing herself as "a confident, strong woman who didn’t take any nonsense." While clothing deals are more commonly associated with Love Islanders, reports have claimed brands including ASOS and Boohoo are battling to sign a deal with Kasia, who never disappoints in the style stakes.
