When describing your ideal spouse, many of us will have a list of things we’d quite like to find in a partner. For some people it could be a solid sense of humour, for others a specific taste in music or love of sports - but for others it boils solely down to looks, as was the case with Married at First Sight’s latest groom George who revealed his deal breaker trait on Thursday’s instalment of the E4 dating show.

Unable to sit back and let his words slide, fans were quick to race to social media to condemn his fixation on appearances, with many even condemning him for being immature on his wedding day of all days.

One fan didn’t mince their words as they wrote: “George!! It’s a no from me! And the rest of woman kind!!! He is disgusting!” Meanwhile a second fan soon added: “He shouldn’t even be thinking of marriage he’s a man child and very vulgar.” Before a third weighed in and commented: “Everything about George is a red flag omg I feel so sorry for Peggy” A fourth then said: “There is absolutely no way the experts believed George was a good fit with Peggy this pairing is purely for entertainment purposes cause he’s a man child.” While a fifth added: “Wow George.
