MAFS' Adam hits back with terse statement after being slammed by fans over Polly

Things have hardly been plain sailing for Married at First Sight UK couple Adam and Polly. From arguments about underwear and groom switching, to working hard to try and amp up their romance a little, the pair have often been at loggerheads - and fans aren't exactly on board either.

So when Facebook group Nia Speaks (Poetic Truth), which has over 13k followers and gives opinionated commentary about the hit Channel 4 show, hit out against Adam and Polly, things could have turned sour.

However, the post - which spoke about Adam's "dodgy" haircut, being 'forced' to kiss his wife, and how Polly should 'leave' and focus on herself - saw a rather funny reply from the MAFS groom.

The original post read: "Dear Adam and Polly, "If we're completely honest, at first we didn't really like you Adam. We thought you were an ar*ehole with a dodgy haircut masquerading as a 'Barber'. "BUT, over time, we've come to understand you.
