The father and son duo hit the red carpet together in support of Mads‘ new film, The Promised Land, during the 2023 Venice Film Festival in Italy on Friday (September 1). Mads also joined his co-stars Hagberg Melina and Amanda Collin, as well as Louise Vesth, Lizette Jonjic, Anders Thomas Jensen, Fabian Gasmia, Simon Bennebjerg, and director Nikolaj Arcel on the red carpet, as well as the press conference earlier in the day.
The Promised Land centers on Ludvig Kahlen, who pursued his lifelong dream: To make the heath bring him wealth and honor. Mads was one of the handful of celebrities permitted to attend the festival.
