She has since been released from the hospital following her bacterial infection diagnosis.“Madonna has long admired Katy, and they have worked together before, but never managed to actually put anything out,” an unidentified source told The Sun of Perry, 38.Apparently, the “Material Girl” singer was “working around the clock” to fine tune her music and upcoming tour, which “are second to none,” the source claimed.“Obviously everything has been put on hold now, but the fact she was in the studio with Katy just hours before being rushed to the ICU shows how determined she was to push ahead despite feeling unwell,” the source alleged.The Post has reached out to reps for Perry and Madonna for comment.The day before she was found unresponsive, the “Like a Virgin” singer was seen strolling through Manhattan, stopping by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to view the Karl Lagerfeld exhibit.Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed her hospitalization Wednesday, saying the “Evita” star had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”She was reportedly intubated at the hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery.She appears to have been discharged Thursday.Sources told TMZ she has been bedridden and vomiting since leaving the hospital.Reports say she suffered a monthlong fever as she persevered through strenuous rehearsals for her upcoming “Celebration” Tour, which has since been put on pause.The 84-date stretch across North America and Europe was slated to kick off July 15.“This really woke her the f–k up,” a family insider told the Daily Mail.The source claimed.
