They also complained that he is not getting hot showers.Brueckner, 48, is standing trial in Braunschweig, Germany, on rape and sexual assault charges.
The court is 200 miles from the prison in Oldenburg where he is serving a seven-year jail term for rape, so he is being held in a local prison in nearby Sehnde when the court hearings take place.Brueckner instructed his lawyer Philipp Marquort to complain to Judge Ute Engemann during today's hearing.
Mr Marquort told the court: "My client has not had a hot shower or hot meal for three days. This is not acceptable. "He is being given high calorie food.
