Iconic British high street retailer Marks & Spencer has announced sad closure news to shoppers. M&S' Broadmead store is set to shut permanently after opening up 70 years ago - and the retailer has warned that more could soon follow.

The high street chain has been based in the centre of Bristol since 1952, selling homewares, clothing and food. The M&S Broadmead store is set to shut in January, but no exact date has been set.
