Lush is on a mission to make sure everything they sell is as healthy for your skin and body as it is for the environment. From no-wrap soap bars to reusable knot wrap wrapping paper, Lush has pioneered plastic-free packaging and cruelty-free formulas.

Now, the squeaky clean brand is continuing to lead the charge with its new, zero plastic Naked Mascara, £10 here, a solid block formula made from butters and waxes.

Available in four shades, Orca (black), Earth (brown), Reef (coral) and Ocean (blue), it promises to give a subtle tint and lift to the lashes.

To use it, wet one of the plastic-free mascara wands (there are three to pick from), wiggle it into the hole in the middle of the balm to pick up pigment, then comb it through your lashes.
