We’re seeing a huge resurgence in nineties beauty trends this season. From frosted eyeshadow to gemstone skin accents and glitter hair, it’s almost like we’re taking a full trip back to the Spice Girls’ heyday – and back to when Rachel from Friends was our ultimate go-to for beauty inspo.

Another huge trend from that decade which is coming back stronger than ever is nineties hair layering.Think flicked ends, cascading layers and feathered fringes and you’re on the right track. The problem some of us have is that we’re not all blessed with hair thickness like Jennifer Aniston (aka Rachel Green, the queen of choppy layers), and as such we haven’t immediately dived into trying the trend.

However, Lucy Watson, former Made in Chelsea star-turned-influencer, is showing that the look can be achieved on fine hair. Taking to Instagram to share the results of her trip to the hair salon, Lucy writes, “A little trim to keep my hair healthy.” She then shares selfies of herself on her way back from the appointment with her freshly-styled tresses.
