Lucy Mecklenburgh reveals gender of second baby with Ryan Thomas: ‘We had an inkling’

The Towie star and Coronation Street actor are already parents to one-year-old son Roman and are looking forward to expanding their family.
In a new interview with Hello! Magazine, Lucy confirmed they are expecting a baby girl, stating: ‘[She] is due in late spring – we can’t wait. ‘I had an inkling that I was having a girl, but I was a bit more unsure than with Roman.
With him I just knew – I don’t know why but even before we found out, I said: ‘I know, one hundred per cent, it’s a boy.’ Lucy, 30, revealed she and Ryan, 37, are struggling to settle on a name this time round whereas they knew instantly when they chose Roman’s name. ‘We may just have to wait to meet her,’ she said, adding: ‘Nothing in the world beats that moment when you hold your baby for the first time.’ Lucy and Ryan announced her pregnancy in November and roped in little Roman for the big reveal.
In an Instagram photo, Lucy is seen holding up a picture of the ultrasound scan with her baby bump on show while Roman adorably lifted up his jumper to reveal his stomach too.It’ll be Ryan’s third child as he also shares daughter Scarlett with former partner Tina O’Brien.The former reality star first met Ryan in 2017 while competing on Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls together, and she previously revealed she ‘fell in love with him’ shortly after.
