Lucky escape for Lanarkshire couple as fallen Storm Dudley tree misses home but wrecks garden

Residents on a Lanarkshire street were awoken by a huge tree falling right outside their homes. Terrified locals heard a huge bang at around 6am this morning, as the tree was struck down by Storm Dudley in Kylepark, Uddingston.

She told Lanarkshire Live she feels lucky to be alive as the high winds could have easily blown the tree onto the house and "flattened" her.
