pitchfork.comLucinda Williams has shared a new song that she wrote for the new Netflix movie Lost Girls. Her track, co-produced by Williams with her husband Tom Overby and recorded at Hollywood’s Capitol Studios, is called “Lost Girl.” The song plays over the end credits of the film.
Hear “Lost Girl” below. “We were very lucky with the amazing band that we were able to put together on very short notice,” Williams said in a statement. “Within two or three days we had Benmont Tench and Steve Ferrone from the Heartbreakers and Val McCallum, who plays in Jackson Browne’s band, as well as Blake Mills, who used to play in my band several years ago.
