Legendary Celtic playmaker Lubo Moravcik has opened up on being sacked by Slovakian club FC Nitra, suggesting they treated him like a "stray dog".
The gifted playmaker became a Hoops hero after being snapped up by Dr Jo Venglos for just £300,000 at the age of 33 from German side Duisburg.He helped Celtic win a treble and won a place in the hearts of Celtic fans before finally leaving for Japan in 2002.
His double against Rangers in a shock 5-1 victory in 1998 made him an immediate fans favourite, a position he retains to this day.
