Luann de Lesseps wishes new RHONY cast 'luck' - as she teases new spin off with Sonja Morgan

Luann de Lesseps is predicting the new cast of Real Housewives of New York City will have challenges winning over fans. When asked about her thoughts on the rebooted series, the 57-year-old reality star  exclusively told DailyMail.com that she wishes 'those girls luck' because it takes 'takes time to establish a friendship' with viewers.Additionally, she pointed out that the show will be directly competing with Bravo's RHONY: Legacy spinoff, featuring the most beloved RHONY stars of all time.

Over the years the series, de Lesseps has solidified herself as a fan-favorite through her authenticity, witty one-liners and cabaret tours, including A Very Countess Christmas, which is coming to Los Angeles this weekend.

While she is optimistic about her prospects of being cast on the spinoff, the singer said she was not surprised by Andy Cohen's recent remarks that Bethenny Frankel was not asked to return.
