A man has revealed the heartbreaking final words his father told him before he died with coronavirus. David Clark, 57, sadly passed away earlier this month after he was transferred to a COVID-19 ward at Whiston Hospital, Merseyside.
His son Paul, 37, told the Liverpool Echo how his father had been feeling under the weather for a few days, but by March 30 he became so breathless he called for an ambulance and was rushed to A&E.
A couple of days after David arrived in Whiston, he tested positive for the virus and Paul received a harrowing call from his dad.
