The family of all the remaining Love Island stars have issued a joint statement to "denounce hate" and urge viewers to "be kind." While the Islanders are in the villa, their friends and family take-over of their social media accounts and for the first time in dating show's history, the families have issued a collective statement.
It comes after there has been an onslaught of online abuse directed to several of the stars on the ITV dating show while they’ve been in the Mallorca villa.
In a joint statement the families have said that "hate has no place" in our society and have urged people to "be kind" to their "friends, sons, daughters and family members." The identical passage was posted to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Tasha Ghouri, Andrew Le Page, Dami Hope, Indiyah Polack and Gemma Owen's Instagram feed on Sunday.
