Love Island winner signs with non-league football team after splitting from Scots girlfriend

A Love Island winner has returned to the football pitch after breaking up with his reality TV girlfriend. Finn Tapp, who won the sixth series of the dating show with Scots beauty Paige Turley has signed for Banbury United.

Prior to entering the Villa three years ago, the talented defender previously played for MK Dons and Oxford City.Speaking on the new signing on Twitter yesterday, the club said the player would be "utilising his own experiences to mentor young players".

While Finn added: "I'm really excited to sign with the club. It's been a positive pre-season for us and I'm buzzing for the season to start."Finn later took to social media to further share his delight at the news.

Posting an Instagram snap clad in team gear on Saturday, he wrote: "Buzzing to have signed for non-league Banbury Utd!"Couldn’t be happier to finally get back to doing something I love doing.
