2022 Love Island winner Ekin-Su has made headlines as it was announced she signed the biggest clothing deal in the show's history.The 27 year old, who won over the nation's hearts as she and Italian boyfriend Davide gained a landslide victory after accumulating 63.7 percent of the public votes, has just signed over a £1 million deal with Oh Polly.
A source broke the news to The Sun, stating: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand. “She is the most in demand Love Island star EVER.” So with Ekin-Su becoming the latest in Love Island's history to make six figures with a fashion deal, we take a look at who paved the way and signed their million pound deals first...
One of the first Love Islanders who fashion brands were eager to sign six figure deals with was Molly-Mae Hague, who was runner up on the show alongside boyfriend Tommy Fury in 2019.
Upon leaving the villa Molly-Mae bagged a £500,000 PrettyLittleThing deal, and in 2021 was named Creative Director of the brand.
