Former Love Islander Zara Holland has said that she finds it hard to watch the show after the death of Sophie Gradon in 2018.
Sophie had been fighting anxiety and depression when she took her own life just two years after appearing on the show. Sophie was found by her boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, who took his own life just days after her death.
Love Island co-star Zara had grown close to Sophie in the 2016 season of the show. Zara said: "Nothing against the show. But I was extremely close with Sophie Gradon.
She was a big part of my time in the villa. "I just wouldn’t watch it, even if I had loads of spare time on my hands." Sophie’s family have continued to fight against online trolling, with mother Deborah meeting with mother of Mike.
