Love Island’s Malin Andersson has told friends of her relief after her thug ex was jailed for beating her up. Malin, 27, suffered broken bones and bruising after being assaulted by her then boyfriend Tom Kemp – because she wanted to stay out partying with friends.

Kemp was jailed this week for 10 months after admitting the attack. Badly bruised Malin, who had to be treated for a broken hand, told a friend: “I couldn’t move for about two weeks.” A pal of the relieved star said: “Her nightmare is over at last.” The attack was the culmination of a campaign of mental and physical abuse by Kemp, 29, who Malin has called “manipulative” and “a narcissist”.
