Love Island star Gemma's dad Michael Owen hits back at vile tweet from football coach

The former England star previously admitted he didn't want to see Gemma kissing on the show but this prompted a crude response from Glasgow City FC under-18 academy coach Paul Proud.
The coach tweeted: "Can’t wait to see her getting smashed", Birmingham Live reports. But ex-Liverpool star Michael, who also played for Manchester United, Stoke City, and Newcastle United, as well as Real Madrid, hit back on Twitter saying: "What a fine example to set from a man in your responsible position. " Fans followed suit in criticising the coach, with one writing: "Nice comment from a fella who works with youths. He said he had "removed" himself from the club despite the post being made "in jest" and "taken out of context".
