Love Island star Dr Alex George preparing for ‘hardest day of his life’ after brother’s death

Love Island star Dr Alex George has hinted that his brother’s funeral will be taking place tomorrow after revealing that he’s preparing for the ‘hardest day of [his] life’. Dr Alex shared the heartbreaking news last week that his younger brother Llŷr had died just weeks before he was due to start medical school.

A cause of death has not been confirmed but Dr Alex said he ‘lost [his] little brother to mental health’. In an Instagram story on Sunday, the reality TV star updated fans and said: ‘Tomorrow will be the hardest day of my life. ‘We will get through for Llŷr and the rest of the family.

Thank you for all the support.’ Dr Alex broke the sad news of Llŷr’s death in an Instagram post on July 24 alongside a photo of them happily posing.
