Love Island's Faye Winter has expressed her furiously slammed tragic events at Aintree Racecourse, where two horses lost their lives, saying she 'can't talk'.The 28 year old reality star, known for her love of animals, took to Instagram to voice her concerns after animal charities demanded an end to horse racing following the heartbreaking conclusion to Ladies Day on Friday, 12 April.
Horses Giovinco and Pikar both suffered fatal falls during the race. Giovinco, a seven year old horse ridden by Stephen Mulqueen, received extensive treatment from vets on the track but sadly couldn't be saved due to the severity of his injuries.
Pikar, on the other hand, tragically broke his neck after a fall, according to campaign group Animal Aid. During a Q&A session on her Instagram page, Faye was asked about the unfortunate incident.The reality star, who is a proud owner of a golden retriever named Bonnie, responded: "I can't talk about it RIP Giovinco and Pikar from today's Ladies Day.
I pray for them tomorrow," she added. ITV Racing host Ed Chamberlain confirmed the sad news of the two deaths on Friday, expressing condolences to the owners, Steven Mulqueen and Lucinda Russell.
