Chris Hemsworth

Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away (2004–07) before beginning a film career in Hollywood by taking on parts in the science fiction film Star Trek (2009) and the thriller A Perfect Getaway (2009).

Hemsworth went on to star in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), the war film Red Dawn (2012), the action thriller Blackhat (2015), the biographical thriller In the Heart of the Sea (2015), the comedy Ghostbusters (2016), and the Men in Black film series spin-off Men in Black: International (2019). His most critically acclaimed roles include the comedy horror The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and the biographical sports film Rush (2013), in which he portrayed James Hunt.

Love Island spin-off in the works allowing reality stars 'second chance at love'

A brand new Love Island spin-off is in the works to allow international contestants a second chance at love. The hit dating show has become a reality TV staple across the UK after premiering in 2015, and that success has lead to Australian and US versions of the show.

US streaming service Peacock has teased the new spin-off, Love Island Games, which promises to round up the best international contestants all competing for the champion title.The series, which is set to air later this year, will bring together past Islanders from the US, UK, and Australian shows, allowing the stars a second shot at love.

In this new format, romance will meet reality as Islanders are faced with both team and couples challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, re-coupling, and dramatic new arrivals.

While not much is known yet about this spin-off series, UK fans don't have long to wait for the next instalment of Love Island.
