Love Island is set for a major revamp as it approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025.The ITV dating show's producers are reportedly ready to quadruple their weekly budget to secure a new location beyond Majorca.
A unique property "shaped like a UFO" located in Portugal's stunning Algarve region has been identified as an early favourite.
An ITV Studios team is scheduled to visit the property later this month.The villa must meet certain requirements, including 65 metres of wardrobe space and signature features such as a large terrace garden, swimming pool, and a separate hideaway area.
An insider revealed: "ITV Studios are scouting out properties for an unconfirmed forthcoming series and are prepared to splash out £20k a week on the right one.They've got their eye on an incredible sprawling villa in the Algarve that is completely different to their more traditional current abode.
