Former Love Island star Yewande Biala has called on people to be more aware of ‘racialized re-naming and name-based teasing’ in response to a row that’s come to light in recent days.
The 23-year-old took to Twitter to make one final point in her much publicised spat with fellow Love Islander Lucie Donlan. The row kicked off over comments made in a Reddit Q&A from 2019 in which Lucie accused Yewande of ‘bullying’ her.
An outraged Yewande took to social media to defend herself. ‘You refused to call me by my name because it was too “hard to pronounce” now you wanna say I bullied you!!
