Love Island star Yewande Biala has called out those who mispronounce her name and explained how doing so is a form of microagression.
The reality star opened up about past experiences where people have previously said her name wrong – dismissing their actions by mocking her name for being ‘too difficult’ or calling her by something different – and addressed why doing so is a big deal.
